Thanks to so many donors, Lillie’s Lighthouse has been up and running for several weeks, and 40 dogs have gone through the facility. When they first arrive at the sanctuary to decompress, they are often scared, confused and malnourished. But we have an awesome team that specifically works with the newest intakes at Lillie’s Lighthouse, and with proper care, feeding and enrichment, the pups soon become comfortable and ready to join the rest of the pack. Our goal is to get them healthy and acclimated, medically and behaviorally assessed, and ready to find a home of their own. 

The next phases of Lillie’s lighthouse will include building private outdoor kennel runs for each of the residents, and their own outdoor play yard. Stay tuned for more on this project!
