I’m Ned, and yes—I'm absolutely ready to be your goofy little shadow, your loyal sidekick, your slightly awkward but totally devoted best friend. Think less social butterfly, more tender-hearted underdog who just needs his person to show him the world isn’t as scary as it seems.

I’m 2 years old, but I grew up in rescue, so my social skills are still a work in progress. I’m kinda like that kid in class who’s sweet as sugar once you know him, but hides behind the teacher when someone new walks in. I LOVE my person—deeply, loyally, protectively—and I want to bond hard with someone who understands that trust isn’t instant for me, but it’s so worth the wait.

I absolutely adore playing with other dogs. Zooms, wrestles, goofy wiggles—you name it. I’m animated and silly and honestly, pretty entertaining. And once I get my energy out? I’m the king of finding a sunbeam and melting into it. Play hard, sunbathe harder.

Now, I’ll be real with you. New people? Not my jam. I need a single-owner home where I can feel safe, secure, and not overwhelmed by strangers coming and going. Kids are also a no—too unpredictable for my sensitive little soul. But give me a person who “gets” me, who’s patient and calm and willing to take things slow, and I will give you everything I’ve got.

I’m smart, I want to please, and I’m totally up for adventures like quiet walks, secluded hikes, and camping trips where it’s just you, me, and the squirrels I pretend I could catch. I’ll need a little more leash training and a lot of reassurance, but I promise you—I’m trying, and I’m worth it.
