Meet Marshmallow 🤍
Marshmallow is a four-year-old American Bully who truly is the light of everyone’s life. She is the sweetest, most amazing girl in the world. Just one day before she was scheduled to be euthanized at Hesperia Animal Shelter in California due to overcrowding, she was saved. She was a staff favorite, and they did everything they could to find her a rescue—and when we met her, it was an easy “yes." Now, Marshmallow is ready for her forever home.
She is wonderful with everyone she meets and absolutely loves people. She would do great in a home with kids and just wants to be showered with love while giving endless kisses in return. She does well with medium to large dogs. She is not dog aggressive, but she can be a bit dominant with smaller dogs, so that’s something to be mindful of.
Before coming to us, Marshmallow experienced some neglect, which led to weight gain and minor hip dysplasia. She will eventually need TPLO surgery, which The Asher House Sanctuary will cover. TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) is a knee surgery that stabilizes a torn ligament by changing the angle of the shin bone, allowing the joint to function without relying on the damaged ligament. Recovery typically takes about 8–12 weeks with restricted activity and gradual return to normal movement.
Marshmallow would love nothing more than light walks, a little time to get her zoomies out, and lots of couch cuddles, belly rubs, and companionship. She is truly an angel who brings so much light and laughter to the sanctuary, and we want her to find a home where she gets that love right back.
