Please review the following information before submitting an animal intake request to The Asher House. Complete as much information as possible as this will help us determine whether we are able to assist with intake or potentially provide other resources for you to contact.

   
Stray Animals

If you found a stray animal, please contact your local animal control agency or animal shelter for assistance. They can help ensure appropriate steps are taken to locate an owner, satisfy applicable stray-hold requirements, and determine next steps for the animal.

Dogs with Significant Aggression or Bite Histories

Please provide complete information regarding any known bites, attempted bites, aggressive incidents, or other significant behavioral concerns. Providing this information does not automatically determine the outcome of an intake request; it allows our team to
appropriately evaluate whether our free roaming sanctuary environment can safely meet the animal’s needs.
