More about Good Morning Sunshine Rescue & Sanctuary
Good Morning Sunshine Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, founded by Hope Davis in memory of her best friend, Kayla. The name comes from Kayla’s greeting, “Good Morning Sunshine,” and carries forward her love and kindness.
Our mission is to help animals find safety, love, and a brighter future while supporting the people who care for them. Through rescue efforts, adoption support, and our community pet food pantry with the Salvation Army in Murfreesboro, we work to spread sunshine to animals and families in need. We are also building toward our dream of a sanctuary where more animals can find a safe place to land.
We are a small, growing rescue, and every donation helps us provide comfort, care, and enrichment to the animals we serve. We believe they all deserve a chance, because they matter.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building!
