Please be careful not to communicate with ANY other accounts as they will ultimately try to get money from you. There are no fan pages or manager pages, and he will never message anyone on social media, WhatsApp or Google hangouts.

We take in dogs based upon our capacity at any given time, and whether the dog would do well in a free-roaming environment. The following website is a wonderful resource to find other organizations that may be able to help:

This listing is rather comprehensive, and includes great foster-based rescue organizations, many of which offer transportation to pick up your pet if they are not in your immediate area. 

As an alternative to surrendering to a rescue, one can use the "home to home" option where you accept applications directly from that site. If you do this, then you are the one screening applicants to find the perfect home. This is safer than FB and Craigslist, where this is a risk of dog fighting rings.

For volunteer requests:

We currently do not have a volunteer program. But we are actively working on expanding parts of the property, and looking at ways for the public to assist us with our mission at some point in the future. 

For visit requests:

We are not currently open to the public for the privacy and protection of our animals and staff. But we are looking at possible ways to include our community in the future.

Animal rescue groups or organizations are dedicated to pet adoptions. These groups take abandoned, abused, or stray animals and attempt to find suitable homes for them. 

Animal sanctuaries provide a permanent home for animals, allowing them to live out their lives in a safe and peaceful environment.

The Asher House incorporates both of these business models into our mission. We rescue and rehabilitate animals that have been abused or discarded, and provide them with a safe place to live. We do keep some of the animals on the property to live out their lives, but we adopt out as many as we can that would do great in a loving home.
